  1. Hello Oliver Community! My wife Frieda and I placed an order last week for a 2022 Legacy Elite II to be delivered next February. For over 20 years we've dreamed of owning an Airstream but once we learned about Olivers two years ago and took a look at them, the quality difference became apparent and we haven't looked back. We've been working with Phil and can't say enough good things about his customer service. I took a trip to the new showroom just last week and got my second factory tour. We cannot wait for our trailer. We look forward to getting to know all of you. Scott

  2. John, Have a pin sitting on my desk. It only has one hole for grease for the bronze bushing. During EZ flex kit installation, followed Dexter instructions for direction to point pin's grease hole, but still need to take a little weight off of one of the pins for it to take grease. Looks like a 1/8" hole. https://www.dexteraxle.com/user_area/content_media/raw/059-A45-00E-ZFlexInstructionSheet.pdf

  3. Hi Claudia, and Welcome to the Oliver family. Obsessive Casita Disorder! I love it! Before we bought the Oliver I spent so much time researching trailers that my wife the psychotherapist diagnosed me with OTD, Obsessive Trailer Disorder. I am now trying to think of a new acronym, maybe Oliver Captivation Disorder. I recognize those rocks! That is Castleton Tower on the right, and The Rectory on the left, in Castle Valley UT!

  4. This is true, around the world. And, it's really sad. I've found, and cleaned up crap, in free or cheap campsites in Australia, USA, Canada, Iceland, etc . You'd think people would appreciate and respect what they are given, but, noooo. The lower the fee, or free, the more work I usually expect to do on arrival.

  5. It has been my experience that a fat wallet leads to low back problems, so my advice is to get 2 wallets and share the pain. And it does help with elevating back pain.๐Ÿ˜‰ Mossey

  6. Yep, always keep something on my desk to pick up and look at while on hold, ect. Job I retired from was a rebuild/manufacturing industrial machine shop in a rough neighborhood with a roof surface area of about 350,000 square feet. Had a pint jar about 1/2 full of 45 and 9mm slugs the roofers would pull out of the roof sitting my desk. Evidently folks would shoot their guns up in the air at night with our roof area being so large it would catch many falling slugs puncturing the roof starting leaks. The jar of slugs was a good conversation starter! ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

  7. I've always wanted one of those just sitting on my desk just in the event someone were to ask ....๐Ÿ˜‡ In any case - I'm glad it was you and thanks for both the pic and the instillation manual. Bill

  8. I am going to guess the Dexter wet bolt has one hole. I have had several occasions that a zerk would not take grease. The issue was easily resolved by raising the offending side of trailer a little with stabilizer jack.

  9. Looks like theyโ€™re towing with a Honda Ridgeline, so thatโ€™s probably a jet pack mounted to the roof to help get them up the mountains. ๐Ÿ˜

  10. I'd be ok with a ball bearing and a bulldog. Not an empty hitch.

  11. We stayed at a COE campground in KY last week. Weโ€™re at a TN state park this next week. We find COE campgrounds are our first choice when in the area we are visiting. Mike

  12. Bill, I have the proven lock and you are correct, the safety chains do not โ€œgoโ€ or fit inside the lock. - Patriot

  13. I have found COE campgrounds on average to be some of the best. The closings must be affected by area - we stayed at several last summer, this spring, and have one lined up in the next trip west. As for reservations - it is an interesting phenom - as last years overwhelming new crop of RVer's inundated the forests, campgrounds, and any place they could stuff their RV - many places have - in response - closed to the public, restricted access, changes from FCFS - to rez, and raised rates. It really tic's me off - as a good many of these usurper's who left trash, human waste, and destruction in their wake - will most likely not return years down the line - yet will have ruined the situation for those that follow. Our plan for this summer - use the Ollie boondocking features to go where we can - Covid shutdowns/restrictions and new campers be damned. It worked last year - and we are better armed for this year. Yea Haw. RB

  14. In between washing the trailer, I usually let the rain take care of cleaning the panels. Last week, we had a lot of maple whirlybird seeds flying, so I'd get on a step stool, take my cheap light string mop and lightly brush those off the panels. (I wouldn't use anything coarse or stiff that could scratch them) The seeds, like leaves, can shade the cells, of course.

  15. Simple - Re-review the video at the top of this thread. As I recall, there are eight zerks per side for a total of 16. 12 of the 16 are easily seen but the others at the top where the Dexter attach to the frame can be a bit more difficult to see. Wipe off the zerk, attach you grease gun, pump grease until you see new grease coming out from around the bolt, remove grease gun, clean up mess and excess grease from around the Dexter and zerk. If you have them attach a zerk cap to help keep the zerk clean. Complete the first side, have an adult beverage and then complete the other side and call it a day.๐Ÿ˜ƒ Bill

  17. It is really a riot how exiting the anticipation of finally getting your Ollie is. My wife and I ordered our LE2 last September and we pick up hull number 836 on June 30th. Meanwhile we have been on the forum almost every day gaining as much knowledge as we can from the wonderful community. We have one whole spare bedroom dedicated to the gigantic pile of stuff that we will outfit the Ollie with. The vast majority of the items came from suggestions we see on the forum. We are left coasters so our trip to pick up is close to 2500 miles. We have had that trip booked and planned out for months. Mike and Pam
