  1. Our closet rod hangs from below the lower shelf with brackets having 4 x 3/8" stainless flat head screws, FYI: Hope this helps out...

  2. @DunnYet Same closet rod connectors as @MAX Burner. I bet a quick call to Oliver Service would get you exactly what you need to install the closet bar. Oliver Service is great about shipping fairly quickly in my experience. 👍🏻

  3. For anyone interested in integrating Seelevel II sensors into the Victron system. The kit includes a tank sensor that you don’t need to use but I couldn’t find the custom made cable elsewhere. Link: https://www.vanlifeoutfitters.com/store/seelevel-709-n2k-pm-tank-monitor-kit-for-cerbo-gx/

  5. In my SOB previous camper, I had a B.P. A friend suggested your approach and I learned just how fast S*it can travel. Definitely needed a change of cloths. Instead, pop three or four dishwasher pods into the tank and take it out for a bumpy twisty turney road for 20 miles. Then try again. I'll bet it works.... Unless your B.P. is ancient, like from last year. The refer to Steph's approach. But be faster than I was.............

  6. You recommended the Nitto's some time ago. I put a set on my TV and LOVE them! Good tire all around. 🙂 G Thank for the in-depth on the Wildpeak tires. I like the no stone tossing tread and super sidewall design. For that reason I would not put the Nitto's on Ollie. Like mentioned, I want my TV to Tow and my Trailer to Follow without hurting Ollie". And the price is reasonable for E-rated tires.

  7. @Brian Z It should turn 90 degrees. I have a 2020 also. Check around in that space around the heater for the lever. Mine vibrated loose a year or so ago and I was able to find it and put it back on.

  9. For those of us who use RUUVi, why not just mount one of these in the fridge? We put one in there when traveling, but when home it monitors my garage temp which is always too hot with southern exposure. Love the one placed above our Dometic thermostat since the dumb thing only shows set temp! (always set at 84 Auto when parked in the summer months.)

  10. An unbiased review from a dire hard Makita guy. If I were servicing on a daily basis 55+ PSI tires, I too would get the Milwaukee, despite its much higher price and being less versatile. But my use is just for my 40 PSI TV & Ollie. So, I'll keep my five year old and still going strong DeWalt team.

  12. I believe the community consensus is to disconnect the 7-pin charging wire, either within the plug housing or inside the Oliver, upon installing lithium (lithium iron phosphate) batteries. OTT routinely does this during a build when an upgrade to lithium batteries is opted. Reason being, the TV alternator does not have the proper charging profile for lithium. You can however, install a DC-DC charger and utilize the TV’s charge system to maintain the house batteries.

  14. The Truma Soft Start device for the Aventa air conditioner is now available from the factory. I contacted Truma Headquarters and they scheduled their local factory mobile tech to do the install at my home in Scottsdale, AZ. The actual install took about 20 minutes. I ran it through several tests and I'm happy to say it performed perfectly. I'm now able to power my Aventa from a 15 amp outlet, a 20 amp outlet or my Honda eu3200i generator. Nice to have the option for Boondocking or Moochcamping. The generator is now able to run in ECO (auto load demand) mode, which enables it to run at a much lower rpm which reduces fuel consumption and noise level significantly. The unit cost $425 installed + travel time. It comes with a 2 year warranty. I don't think they have mobile technicians available everywhere so check with the factory.

  18. Jim: Several of us run with 500 pound tongue weights on the OE2. Last year Art and I weighed my tongue weight on a really neat scale for this purpose. Mine was 540 pounds. I travel out west in significant truck and cross winds with never a problem with sway. And with your F-250 why worry about yours in the 600 range? I would not. GJ

  19. do any repair or simple replacement part. Given it’s a quality product, though have read of several Truma issues in many threads here. Those of you who have service centers do installations and service work for you, OK… Not me, my trailer my install. What happens when you have no AC or no HWH 600 miles and 5 weeks out on the service calendar of an Authorized Truma Service Center? Nothing, is the answer. Your consolation is it’s not Dometic cr@p. Good luck. 🤣

Doubt for me is always removed by action. btw, my Casita was named OCD for "Obsessive Casita Disorder" ..Ha Thanks again everyone! Regards, Claudia

  21. Nothing wrong with Cooper. Many have them here for TV and TT. We have them on our GX, the AT model and they don’t pick up stones. Must say I like the tread on these Wildpeaks, 5 ribs 4 grooves should track nicely. Will give them a good look next time we need tires. Thx

  22. Honestly, you cannot have enough pressure, meaning load carrying capacity in a second axle/tire to cover the GTWR load upon tire failure (unless you want 80 PSI, the reason why legal depts of RV manufactures suggest this crazy number on your trailer sticker). Either you have muscle memory from 30-40 years or more driving old trucks and towing dozens of cargo and flatbed trailers, or you need to rely on a TPMS (check it often). Yes, redundancy is one of the key factors in mitigating risk. For this reason, the idea of an Elite I (a single axle trailer) is not for me. Having owned horse trailers, farm stock trailers, car haulers, cargo and flatbed trailers, certainly a dozen trailers over a lifetime, and by my choice they are ALL dual-axle trailers. I've had blowouts on desert roads at 70 MPH. The tire tread rips the fender off a car-hauler. I realize it in milliseconds and (btw don't hit the brakes) coast nicely to the shoulder. Run you tire pressure per the load charts and add 5 PSI for a safety of margin. Additional PSI will cause your belongings to suffer, cause your leaf springs to failure (see the threads here) and just more bad stuff! Trust me (and many others here with considerable lifetime experience).

  23. We replaced a big bank of six volts on the boat with the Epoch 460. It's heavy, but light for the power it stores. Epoch also makes well reviewed smaller batteries, with comm. Two 100 ah batteries would probably fit, but the 460 is ip67 rated (best for the boat) and I think the 200 are only ip 54 or ip57. Still, in a sealed compartment... There are options beyond Battleborn. None are actually "drop in." My husband and our friend did some wiring changes. We already had controllers. Required setting changes. So far, so good, but only six months or so in. 11 year warranty. Epoch was a fraction of the cost of battleborn, for same storage capacity. Will prowse reviews on tear down were impressive. We took a fly, and I'll update as we go. (600 watts of solar on the boat. No shore power connection, normally. We haven't plugged in for 5 years, at least.) So, we'll update as the years go on..

  24. SAFETY RECALL REPORT RCLRPT-24V322-5775.PDF I am glad the recall was done looks like there was a 2nd unit found with incorrect coupler during service in April (See Chronology section). Appreciate Oliver for following through with this but agree with @Geronimo John and @jd1923 it should be posted in Safety/Recalls and it seems like Bulldog MFG should be doing their own recall. Also, it looks like OTT is planning to send out letters to owners by July 17th, 2024 just waiting on approval. Stay safe, Mike

  25. It is "standard" operating procedure, in hot air ducting, to decrease duct size the further it gets from the heat source. The same amount of air in the 4" duct gets put into the 3" duct. This increases the velocity and helps move the heated air along. I just hope the is a direct path out of the bathroom and back to the return duct. Also hope that air is returned through the cabin and not through the basement. The return air is going to suck the air with the least resistance. Hopefully it is not the air from the drain 'scuppers'. That air might be 40°, or more, cooler than cabin air, and the basement air might be 20° or more. The warmer the return air the more efficient the furnace is at heating.

  26. Our 2022 Elite II has the Truma Varioheat furnace. The Truma ducting is smaller, more substantial and, from what I can see in the photos, better installed. In addition to the mods detailed above, I recommend you consider adding a return air vent from the bath to the underside of the front dinette seat. Our Truma Varioheat system came with that additional return air vent. It really helps the flow of heated air.

  27. I just saw a 2023 Oliver for sale on RVTrader. They paid $107K. They are asking $80K. It has been listed for one day. There are 24 LEGACY ELITE II for sale. 15 are dealer units.
