  1. I have a Truma WH and the manual does not show a gas cutoff for it and I looked and didn’t find one in the trailer either. Since the 2017 manual does not show a gas shutoff anywhere, I assume the Suburban WH does not have one either. Can you verify that? Mossey
  2. Please don’t count on the Oliver production or service teams to read your post. This forum is provided by Oliver and they host the server and provide the server support, but they do not participate and probably will not see your post. So the solution is to open a service request with the service department. This will provide a history of your problem for management to address. Remember, "the squeaky wheel gets the grease" and none of these posts squeak, but a service request does. Mossey
  3. @Spike I know you have great faith in your RV service tech and I assume it’s the same tech that installed your solar and battery upgrade, so you should be confident in the work he has completed for you. But I also remember that he didn’t get everything right the first time, although he did get it right in the end with some help from the forum members. And he may have replaced an Oliver window before, but I doubt it. So just to be fair, I think it would be prudent to ask the folks at Oliver, who built your trailer about your water leak as they might have some inside knowledge about window installations in Oliver’s. Mossey These 2 links contain information on the subject of water leaks in the window area. The first link is provided by the Oliver Service team. The second link start out with my experience’s with a window leak, but others contributed their own. https://support.olivertraveltrailers.com/portal/en/kb/articles/window-maintenance
  4. Is the collar sliding back far enough to release the side latch? Is the ball in the front portion of the coupler and bound up? If my tow vehicle rolls forward or backwards when I place it in park, it will sometimes cause the ball to release a little rough due to the miss alignment. Sometimes I use the emergency brake to reduce the roll. The Andersen leveling wedges never have caused me any problems disconnet problems. Mossey
  5. WooHoo! Costco $3.74 this morning in Wesley Chapel, FL. Mossey
  6. Thank you for pointing out to everyone that either I can’t read or I am blind.🙈 I totally overlooked the Tundra in your signature. Please except my apologies and thank you for your insightful comments on your Andersen setup. Mossey
  7. It would be my guess the you are not using the Andersen WDH with your 1 ton Ram. And I believe JD thinks the function of the Andersen WDH is the source of the excessive ball wear. Mossey
  8. @Landrover mentioned that mod in his for sale posting. Follow the link below: https://olivertraveltrailers.com/forums/topic/7121-2019-legacy-elite-ii-for-sale-in-ocala-florida/#comment-77148 Mossey
  9. Great job on the window vent! FYI, @csevel is a she, not a he and it was probably a typo. Mossey
  10. @MnG KY I think a call to the service department is direction I would go. It looks like you should still be under warranty. Mossey
  11. Thanks Kirk! I guess I would have known that if I was shopping for a new Ollie. I am naturally attracted to shiny objects, so I try to avoid looking at sales brochures.🙈 Do you know if that was an option in before 2023? Mossey
  12. I have a silly question concerning which department installed your 2 5/16" Bulldog coupler. If the 2 5/16" coupler was installed in the production department, I would consider that an upgrade. If it was installed in the service department, I would consider that a modification. In the past, the Oliver production department would not install the Bulldog 2 5/16 coupler as an upgrade when building a trailer. That modification was completed in the service department. The reason I point this out is because there have been complaints on this forum about Oliver’s production policy of no longer allowing custom upgrade’s as they did in the early days. And when I read your post above, I thought it might set an unrealistic expectation for someone thinking of ordering an Oliver. So can you clarify which department installed your coupler? Mossey
  13. This Link covers my Dometic A/C Drain Leak Repair. Mossey
  14. As we say in Florida, "When your up to your butt in alligators, it’s hard to remember your objective was to drain the swamp". The Honda EU2000i will provide enough power for most things in the trailer with the exception of the air conditioner unless your Ollie has a EZStart installed. You will have to manage your power consumption and not overload the generator as JD mentioned above. Mossey
  15. The solar system will not effect the operation of the generator. The Ollie should act just like it does when you are plugged into shore power. Mossey
  16. I assume you have never connected the generator to your OTT based on your question. Do you have a neutral bonding plug and an adapter plug for the trailer power cord to plug into the 120v outlet on the generator? Mossey
  17. The tools needed to install SharkBite fittings and PEX pipe are a PEX pipe cutter and a SharkBite fitting. The tools needed to remove SharkBite fittings are Disconnect Clips or Disconnect Tongs, which are SharkBite products and are pipe size dependent. SharkBite makes 3 different types of fittings and those branded EvoPEX are not reusable. You just cut the pipe and throw the fitting away. SharkBite’s warranty specifically states that it applies to SharkBite pipe used with their fittings. Mossey
  18. Hull #193 came factory equipped with a Dometic fridge and a single fan that is controlled from a switch in the main panel in the entryway. My B+ power comes from the bottom of the fridge up to the thermostat and continues up to the switch. The second switch wire completes the circuit back to the fan. The negative wire also comes from the bottom of the, fridge and runs directly to the fan. You may not have access to the bottom of your fridge, but I have two removable vent panels. There may be additional DC power already at the switch panel, but it’s simple run from the attic to the entry switch panel if you need it. Mossey
  19. So how is Uga doing this summer? Mossey
  20. My 6" inspection hatch in the propane tank housing is really discolored and this hatch would certainly be an upgrade. Maybe after I win a lottery! Mossey
  21. Another excellent write up, thank you! I have had my slide tray out for a re-paint after a battery leak, so I wholeheartedly agree with working the support bolts under the battery box is a challenging endeavor. Four hands to make doable. You detailed instructions will be help someone in the future, so kudos to y’all in the great northwest! Mossey
  22. @Jenna King’s Ransom How very apropos! Mossey
  23. I couldn’t have said better myself! Mossey
  24. What pictures? That’s much better👏👏👏. The pictures are great, thanks for posting. Mossey
  25. On a positive note, it’s great that both Dexter and Oliver are being proactive about the issue. I know you waited a long time to pickup the Eggcelsior and now you have to wait a little longer to use as you would like to,bummer. Mossey
