I don’t see the Oliver production line starting up custom requests or partial options. They did not offer this when we purchased our 2020. The other thing to consider is warranty. It might be a good idea to review Oliver warranty information prior to DIY installs. I think most will agree Oliver has the best warranty in the industry. And truly stand behind what they build. As many have said on the fourm, it less expensive to have it installed in production than post delivery. Just another view point. Enjoy your build!

My 890 arrived yesterday and I am still thinking through this install. As TG mentioned I do have the optional upfitter switches (pic) one of which will likely be my 890 power source. The builtright mounting bracket is on its way from the supplier. And I already had a new ram mount in my shop that I had never opened from my previous 2 wheeled moto years. My only concern with the ram mount arm length from the mounting ram ball mounting point on the Builtright. Which begs the question? Is there any noticeable screen bounce or screen vibration when driving down secondary roads using the longer ram arm mount? In a recent conversation with TG, I believe he mentioned he saw no noticeable screen bounce or vibs on the smoother super slab on a recent trip. Over thinking, Yes.. guilty.😎 Over head upfitter switches-

The bird is in and rolling in hickory smoke for several hours and we won’t open the smoker door until our igrill mini meat probe reports on my iPhone that its done! 😊 A toast to a safe, healthy year ahead for all. BlueHighways, I agree with you on the additional cab comfort of a 3/4 ton on long haul trips, IMHO there is no comparison to a half ton or an SUV. We recently made a decision to move to a 3/4 and have zero regrets. Driver/passenger comfort, insane power from an extremely quiet diesel w/engine brake or Jake brake. Another huge plus is added cargo room and excellent cab visibility (ours is factory lifted) which really suits us perfectly for travel and touring. We also have the optional 1 ton Dana axle high capacity tow package TV and still averaging 21-22 mpgs highway. Drive what you enjoy and enjoy what you drive! 👍🏻 Happy Camping and enjoy that new TV!

We have the (5) sided clam and really it’s quick set up and take down. I recommend the optional side panels for privacy or blocking wind or sun.

We called the CG directly and mentioned we were picking up our Ollie and they were very accommodating. Site 81 - I wide and level and I would pick it again. 😊

Bill, I had to blow the dust off an old photo of me at Deals Gap back in 1999. (It was not as well known as it is today population 6) I was riding my new 1999 Honda Valkyrie. This particular day I remember buying a long sleeve heavy t shirt which I recently parted with along with the leathers. The Deals Gap Store was tiny and had a few t-shirts in a card table for sale, so I bought one. Now it’s Tail of the Dragon...it attracts all kinds of moto and auto enthusiasts. Over the years grew way too crowded and just unsafe to ride and enjoy. Many have met their fate on Tail of the Dragon on her twisted turns and terms. With 40 years plus safe riding years and a rather number or large sampling of different scoots, my wife and decided to retire off two wheels in Aug of 2018. Oh what a great ride it was! The Valk...a great bike in its day. Never a moments problem. The last two scoots we owned my former R1200 BMW ADV and my bride on her Suzuki 650 Vstrom. Just a follow up with the GE dehumidifier listed above. We learned in the owners manual that it should not be used below 41 degrees or above 90 degrees and its heavy as a boat anchor. So we returned the unit to HD yesterday. So our search continues. We will keep the Pro Breeze for travel.

Very interesting link, Thank you! I just read in the owners manual not to run our new GE dehumidifier below 41 degrees or above 90 degrees😳. So with temps dipping below freezing I will just empty it and turn it off this mid week at night. The GE model has a high and low speed and it’s pretty quiet on low. A continued work in progress. Here is the GE we purchased recommended by Ray. We bought at HD - it’s heavier than it looks at 33 lbs empty.

Great suggestions John, I have not wrapped a toilet seat in Saran Wrap since pulling a trick on a few friends many many years ago.😂 I will spare the details. Well I did get tossed into a pool full clothes as payback. 😂 Those teenage years were fun. A beverage and campfire story for sure. Thanks for the suggestions!

Yes to your first question, the toilet will still need a cup or two periodically. Second question, we’ll see. I have the new unit set to reduce the H to 50% for now. A work in progress.

We’ll keep the smiling little guy for travel 😄. Although I think it’s not going to be very effective when we are in and out of the Ollie. It maintains about 69% RH. Better than nothing I suppose. 🥴
