  1. Last time in Farmington for me I was on a motorcycle. Heavy thunderstorms and water in the streets that covered my boots! Route 64 that goes through the center of town continues east all the way to the Atlantic ocean! Safe travels! Bill
  2. Try: THIS for the Andersen install vid. Bill
  3. Suggestion - before doing the propane conversion on a new generator check the warranty details for the generator. Better to be aware than be surprised. Bill
  4. Yep - This "tractor Supply" pin mod has been around for a fair number of years now. I always recommend that if a new owner is about to pick up their new Oliver (and has the Andersen), one of the first things they should do is drive out of the delivery area and straight into the Hohenwald Tractor Supply sales lot to buy one of these. Thanks for bringing the mod up again though and it is also a great reminder for those still waiting for delivery that they really can learn something by taking a stroll through past history here on the Forum. Bill
  5. Given that there is always change in models that does not necessarily happen all at one time, the only way to be certain of the answers to your questions would be to ask your sales rep at Oliver. Bill
  6. Once again this type of service from Oliver proves to me that while these people are not perfect - they are one heck of a distance ahead of whatever is in second place. I simply find it very difficult to talk to non-Oliver owners about this kind of service since I and the people I have spoken to about it have nothing to compare it to for any product at any time. Bill
  7. Pat and Danielle - Welcome to the Family! As Mike said - the 9 months will go by before you know it. Now would be a great time to start reading all that is available here on the Forum and in the Oliver University. Many of your questions will be answered and some questions that you probably would not think of will be generated by this activity. Then, on your delivery date, you will be well prepared to start enjoying your new Ollie right away. Bill
  8. I'll second this with the exception that I'm fairly certain that I maintain something more than "light chain tension". To date absolutely no issues with these links, my hitch ball nor my frame brackets. Bill
  9. Actually, it is fairly amazing that it took five years for that wire to become detached enough for it to stop working. And, it does not appear that there was any "arching" on the end of that wire. Bill
  10. Glad ya got your flame back! I always carry a small can of compressed air with me in my tool kit. A few years ago a small piece of "stuff" (most likely rust) just happened to settle on the igniter sensor of my fridge. This "shorted out" that sensor therefore not allowing the burner to ignite - so - no cooling in the fridge. Being careful to NOT blow back into the gas burner jet I used the compressed air to blow out that entire area and it has worked fine since. Now, every year after Twist sits in storage for more than a month I do this "blow out" as a part of routine maintenance and all has been good. Bill
  11. NCeagle - One "easy" way to find all of your posts is to click on your avatar. When your page opens, look for a white box on the right side of the screen that says "See My Activity" and click on it. Bill
  12. You can do a bedliner coating in just about any color you want to include white. Perhaps the one that you are referring to was done in black - I thought that it would be really ugly until I saw it and I didn't think that it looked too bad. THIS is but one example. Bill
  13. Erika E - I assume that you are asking about weep holes that are actually at the top of the windows (these windows could be installed so that they opened in either direction depending on which side was down and thus the top weep holes needed to be plugged). I think that a simple call to the Oliver Service department will solve your problem. Bill
  14. There is zero difference between the two layouts relative to the space between the kitchen counter and the dinette. The differences take place from the rear edge of the pantry to the rear of the Ollie. Bill
  15. While there are no "bad" sales people at Oliver - if anyone can help you it is Anita. Good luck!
  16. Yes the ac will use the Easy Start any time it powers up regardless of the source of power.
  17. Welcome to the family and for the nice comments. Since you have found the Forum I assume that you are already familiar with the Oliver University. If not - there is a ton of important information there that will help you when you get your Oliver. Let us know if you have questions! Bill
  18. Welcome Leo! That is one great hull number that I'm sure has a bunch of stories to tell and even more stories to yet enjoy. Nice to have you as part of the family. Bill
  19. Since the year 2000 it has been recommended that at 3pm (local time) every American pause for at least one minute to remember. Certainly even with all of the "other" things that we have to do we can all find that one minute out of our busy day to remember.
  20. There are several owners that over the years have changed the "Oliver" on that lens to say something else - in my case "Twist". A local sign shop can easily make up a decal that will fit the space and say what you want. Bill
  21. Before I found Oliver I took a look at the Little Snoozy camper (made in South Carolina). While a few owners of the Snoozy have put propane into that camper, they do not come from the factory with any propane connections in them - they are all electric (kind of). I understand that with a relatively recent change of ownership they are (or are intending to) offer a solar option. If, indeed, your intent is to never boondock or only boondock for very short periods of time going all electric is possible even without spending copious amounts of money on solar. Bill
