Nancy K. Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 Pisgah Inn will now allow non-guests to eat lunch there if you make reservations. We were across the road at Mt. Pisgah campground for 4 nights this week. Best hike we did was the Black Balsam Knob hike (off Forest Service Rd. between mileposts 420 and 421.) 2 5 "Creativity is the fun of putting together unexpected ideas." Hazel Edwards

This is a great campground and just minutes from Branson and all the shows and activities. We had a good visit to Silver Dollar City during their BBQ and Bluegrass week. The park is right on Table Rock Lake for those who like water activities. Do you lock the hitch when leaving? Does OTT have those for the bulldog? Moderators topgun2 Posted September 11, 2021 Moderators Posted September 11, 2021 John - There are numerous ways to "lock" the hitch of the Oliver - both while moving and while parked. I always use a "locking pin" such as shown in the photo below to prevent anyone from simply lifting the bulldog latch. At delivery, Oliver does supply a "pin" to keep this latch closed but it does not lock. Since this locking pin is reasonably easy to defeat - think crowbar or stout hammer - I will take other theft prevention measures when leaving my Oliver in questionable places. This "locking pin" is available at most Walmarts and/or search coupler lock on Amazon - there are numerous styles to choose from. Also you can use this Forum's search function - try hitch locks or just locks - since this subject has been discussed numerous times. Yes, I do. These are what I use and are available on Amazon. Oliver may be stocking some locking devices now, you could check with Jason. 1 1 Texas Hill Country | 2016 Elite II #135 | 2020 Ram 2500 6.7L

SNY SD UP Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Have been in Maine (Bangor & Acadia area) for 2.5 days. Enjoying (making best of) the Rain & Fog. We will not try to enter Canada this season, but will drop down to Mass. tomorrow, do the East Coast for a while, then head back West and (then Home) up to ND, before the snow fly's. Been on the road 65 days, enjoying the various landscapes and all that this wonderful country presents to us. Moderators topgun2 Posted September 25, 2021 Moderators Posted September 25, 2021 Be safe out there and load up on that seafood. Moderators Mike and Carol Posted October 7, 2021 Author Moderators Posted October 7, 2021 We just spent a week in southwest Colorado at Bayfield Riverside RV Park. Our son and family live in Durango and Bayfield is just to the east. We don’t normally do commercial parks but this one was nice, well maintained and convenient to what we needed to do. Our son and family pulled their RV out over the weekend and camped next to us, a new experience! Cowboy parade in Durango. Our site from across the river. Running river water can be very soothing! A very nice park, well maintained. Our site with my son’s NoBo next door. 7 Texas Hill Country | 2016 Elite II #135 | 2020 Ram 2500 6.7L

Patriot Posted October 15, 2021 Posted October 15, 2021 Oliver in Wild - We spent 5 nights here - https://riversedgemountainrvresort.com and did a little exploring around Nantahala National Forest, Vogel State Park, Blairsville, and Brasstown Bald. Rib Country is now are most favorite barbecue joints in Murphy…awesome cue!! We were camping among the giant RVs.😄 Lots of large motorhomes and big 5th wheels. The RV park was extremely clean and well kept and had large concrete pad sites. We met a number of super nice people during our stay. We took our bicycles in order to do a shake down of our 1Up USA (2) bike rack. We loved having our bicycles with us, it was just great to pedal tour around the park. The 1Up USA Super Duty bike rack performed excellent with no issues during our trip. The license plate relocation bracket arrived while we were gone so I installed it when we got home. I may add an LED license plate light. A few pics of our site, bike rack and views along the way. Bike rack loaded without the license plate relocation kit. Plenty of tail light visibility but needed the license plate relocation bracket. Bike rack deployed- Rack in upright store position- Our site - Looking from Nantahala National Forest up towards the Smoky Mtns. Moderators mossemi Posted December 3, 2021 Moderators Posted December 3, 2021 11-10-2021 Overnight stop while traveling. White Oak Creek COE campground near Eufaula, AL. Very typical for COE campgrounds. It is clean, waterfront and cheap for old people. And they even had the heat on in the shower building. Sweet. Moderators mossemi Posted December 3, 2021 Moderators Posted December 3, 2021 11-27 to 11-30, 2021 Eastbank COE campground near Bainbridge, GA. Very nice campground with clean facilities and grounds. What a surprise to find four other Ollies at our favorite AZ State Park the day after we arrived. Great to meet new Ollie owners and reconnect with some we met last year, before we had our Ollie.
