DavidS
We could not go to the Lake Guntersville rally because we had a family gathering at Jalama Beach county park campground, west of Santa Barbara, CA. This is a really nice campground, right on the ocean. We had our Oliver, my sister had her Casita, and other family members rented cabins. On our way home we stayed in Snow Canyon State Park, near St. George, UT. A really fabulous park. 13 David Stillman, Salt Lake City, Utah 2016 Oliver Elite II Hull 164 | 2017 Audi Q7 tow vehicle. dbp05ret
We departed from the Rally. Went home for a few days and started west. I made a small wager with my wife that we would see 3 Olliver's on thos trip besides ours. She said we would see 1. So far none. Here we are today at Cedar Pass Lodge Campground in the Badlands.

Moderators topgun2 Posted May 27, 2019 Moderators Share Posted May 27, 2019 Thanks for the pictures! Did you know that it is illegal to skinny dip in Skinny Dip Falls - it is on National Forest Property where nudity is prohibited. Having said that - I was fishing the Yellow Prong creek a few years ago (this is the creek that Skinny Dip Falls is on) and just below the falls I came upon a couple of co-eds that were catching some sun - apparently illegally too! Steve-Gwenne
We are on a long trip. A stop was at Worthington State Forest, Columbia, NJ. The campground is along the Delaware River & is dry. The bathhouse is semi-satisfactory. The one near us had composting toilets; another one which served a lot more people was flush. Beautiful location. We were here on Memorial Day weekend & very few people. We were in spot 38, on a grassy knoll, with a slight river view. 4 SGC & GRC Hull 224 [2017] 2017 GMC Sierra HD Crew Cab Diesel

Dave and Cindy
First night on the way to Alaska was at Cabela's in Lexington KY on Wednesday night. It is easy access from I-75 and very close to I-64. Large parking lot and we were told park anywhere. There are a few dedicated sites on the east side of the building but we did not want to use up one of those large sites. They have a pay dump station. It was quiet with 5 others in the lot. There are a multitude of restaurants on the other side of the interstate, maybe 1/2 mile away. We left in the morning about 8. Very good stop. 1 Dave & Cindy #076 Photographer * Traveler www.twolanetouring.com Posting Daily - National Parks, Camping and more.

John E Davies
9300 ft Silverton CO Where is that spot? Official NFS campground? I love that area, after the Moab area it is my most favorite place to go.... I hope you are planning to stay a while. I think it is a bit too early in the season to get up into the high passes of the Alpine Loop (in a Wrangler) due to snow and runoff. Which way are you headed next? If you need some suggestions, just ask. I have to admit I am jealous. Raspy
David, That looks like a perfect place for us to do a shakedown cruise on the new HQ. Hoping to deliver Ollie in Draper on the 18th of August, and P/U the HQ in Lindon, on the 20th. We'll see, as there are a number of variables. Liye is liking Utah more and more. Moderators topgun2 Posted July 25, 2019 Moderators Share Posted July 25, 2019 OK, just can't stand it. Unfortunately wifi and cell is so bad in Dillon, MT that I can't attach a picture but after three weeks south and east of Hamilton, MT in the high country I am presently camped right on the banks of the Beaverhead River. Tomorrow I will hit it looking for that 20 inch brown trout that (from all reports) lives here. I'm really not all that far from Steve & Tali!
