  1. In our retrofit install of the tf130, we sealed both vents. (We had both.) We added insulation to the vents, and the sides of the cavity, still leaving an airgap around the fridge. Made sure we had more than 24 square inches of venting, to the interior. No more screening necessary to keep mud daubers out. We've never had an overtemp issue in ours. Normally run the fridge on 5 or so. But, we don't camp in 95 or 100+ degree weather, either. I leave that to younger, more heat tolerant folks. We do keep plenty of cold sink foods/beverages in the fridge. All fridges seem to work better when loaded, vs empty/lightly loaded. As someone else suggested, all the cold comes from the tiny freezer. I think the temp sensor is within the wall of the freezer, as well. There are some air slots at the back. Maybe move your fan from center to left, and try to draw more cool air from the freezer? You could also have a faulty thermostat. Isotherm sells a kit which includes a sensor in the fridge cavity, as well. Many boater use it. I think Overland installed it for his, maybe. I'll see what I find. The other suggestions of shading the fridge side are good. Wondering if you have a true 24 square inches of interior venting?
  2. @jd1923, the op reports that he has an isotherm/dc danfoss compressor fridge. 2016s like yours had 3ways as original equipment. Have ypu upgraded yours? @DunnYet, we've never used a fan in our truckfridge (similar to your isotherm. Same interior, same compressor.) Try without it. Your isotherm vents to the interior of the trailer, not exterior. Is anything blocking interior venting? Any ice buildup in the shoebox freezer?
  3. Your blue sky will likely show nothing til it senses it's hit 100 per cent. It works on algorithms, and reset is 100 per cent. Call or email Ryan at Blue Sky if you continue to have problems. He's truly a wizard. Totally knowledgeable. Great guy.
  4. It really depends on the fabric content and instructions. Do you know what fabric was used on your cushions? And the care instructions? Even if the fabric is machine washable, I wouldn't dry it. Hang dry. Maybe air fluff. You can damage not only the fabric and stitching, but the zippers too, in the dryer. Getting cushions back into the covers isn't ever fun, but a sheet of plastic, or a dry cleaning bag, can help. Makes the foam more "slippery", then you pull the plastic out, after you work the cover up like a tight sock, a little at a time, keeping seams straight.
  5. Awesome. Enjoy the travels!
  6. As original install, whatever you send to the battery, from the portable panels, thru the fused zamp port, needs to be regulated power (has to go thru an onboard controller on the panel, or a separate controller. ) Check the zamp port to make sure previous owner didn't change polarity. Zamp sets up their polarity opposite os standard sae connector. If it is original, you will need a) a polarity reversing adaptor, and b) a second controller for the portable that doesn't have one, or, ability to connect /daisy chain to the panel that has an onboard controller.
  7. Odo- ban. Our dollar tree has a little tiny bottle. A little goes a long way.
  8. Ask renogy if you can "daisy chain" the two suitcase solar, so that both run through the onboard controller of the first, closest to the trailer. You need an onboard controller to plug into the zamp solar port. And, you'll need an adapter, as zamp wires "backwards polarity" of typical sae connectors, though it looks the same.
  9. So, in 2021 you had Zamp solar 2 x 170 panels. You can pull up the manuals in Oliver University. You probably have a zamp controller. Please feel free to ask questions. My trailer is older, and configured differently, but plenty of folks here with 2021 to help. What batteries do you have?
  10. I hope you are doing ok. I saw the news on the collapse of one house, near the Rapidan dam. Please stay safe, and keep us posted.
  11. Safe travels to your mom, as well. Hope she does well on that long journey. God bless her.
  12. Found this. So, yes, lfp/lifepo4
  13. Is the Bigbeard lithium phosphate (lifepo4)? Not finding the chemistry specs. Also concerning is a tag on "for indoor use only". Not impressed with their website. Maybe I missed something.
  14. If that's your joy, no bumper pull is a good option. A big van , a class c, or something that can tow your gyro is much more practical. I'm not a fan of truck campers, but it may work for you. Best wishes in a good decision that works for you..
  15. Back in the day, several couples, with pets, full timed in the original Elite I. Is it possible? Sure. They all upscale at one point, years in. For us, the Elite I has been our summer home, sometimes 6 months, for 16 years. But, we have a nice sticks and bricks to come home to. I don't think I could full time, without a home base. Now, with grandchildren, I'm sure I want to be home, more than away, and not moochdocking in pur daughters driveway. Our cousins have had at least a dozen different rvs, from big buses (prevost) to bumper pulls and class cs. It's all an adventure. Some people figure out their camping style quickly. (At least, less than a dozen.) We're still good with the little Ollie. Part time, full time. I've figured out, over the years, that I don't want to full time, 24/7/365. Neither boat, nor trailer. But, that's me. Not you. Follow your heart, with reason.
  16. @sarah1971 bought the trailer, sans the rig, and did a beautiful restoration job on her hull #25. She posted the hull number in her restoration result thread . An amazing amount of work went into bringing it back from "frankentrailer" status. Kudos to her!
  17. Several people have done that. A link to a search for "multiplus." https://olivertraveltrailers.com/forums/search/?&q=Multiplus&search_and_or=or
  18. If your fridge is working on gas, and your fans work, you don't have a total 12v problem. The touch lights are notorious for issues, but not the others. If you have 12v to other circuits, you most likely have loose connections, somewhere in the lighting circuits, as Mossemi suggested. Good luck, and keep us posted.
  19. Nan, we have an old school separate thermostat for the furnace. The Houghton runs off the remote supplied with it.
  20. We have the same vents in our 2008. Probably could find them in good stainless at Seadog. If I carried an air fryer, I'd take it out of the cupboard for use. Actually, I'd probably store it in a bin under the bed, or on the floor of the closet. That microwave cavity made a super pantry space for us, when we removed the never used microwave.
  21. My neighbor is having the mini installed on a few months. We'll see what he says. I agree with Mike, it's all Magic.
  22. In my native "Minnesota nice" tongue, we'd say "that's interesting." Would never make it to a short list, for me.
  23. Older thread, but relevant, I think.
