  1. Hopefully all fellow vets had a pleasant Veterans Day.
  2. You should get years of great service with the new cap.
  3. We had to replace ours this spring; I purchased a replacement at a local RV dealership. In five years we will need to replace them again.
  4. I assume your comment is from the map in which we have traveled in the United States; North Dakota is the only state we have missed.
  5. There is no login or logout icon at the top, where did they go?
  6. What does Oliver Travel Trailer Service Department include into their yearly service (repack wheel bearing, lube EZ flex, check brakes, wash and polish, etc). Normally any company that you request a yearly service for lets say HVAC in your home; that company can provide you with a list of services that will be preformed including the price. I have carried our 2015 Elite II back to the factory every year to do a few things including repacking the wheel bearings; they have never said anything about a "Yearly Service Package".
  7. What is included in the Oliver Yearly Service?
  8. Nice tow vehicle and it's the same color as mine.
  9. Our T105's are almost 5 years old and still very strong. I did not purchase the hydrolink, it is no problem pulling the fill covers and checking the water levels. In all of my years dealing with very large battery system, I saw problems with hydrolink systems not maintaining the correct water level in wet cell batteries. If you pull the covers and check the water level and keep it adjusted to the proper level the batteries will last a long time.
  10. Mike and Carol: Our unit was doing the same over the last few months; but ours is not an Atwood. This is the replacement unit I used Safe-T-Alert Model 35-742-WT (Dual Carbon Monoxide & Propane Gas Alarm Unit). It was purchased from Camping World, installed in same location as the original unit. There is a one amp fuse under the left side bed for the unit. According to the manufacture these units should be replaced every five year. I installed quick disconnects in the 12VDC feeds which will make it easy to replace in the future.
  11. Nan: what part of Virginia are you planning on for a camping trip?
  12. Last fall we had a condensation issue with the fan that caused the lid drive motor to open and close on it’s own without use doing anything. I pulled the fuse and after we returned home I removed the circuit board and took care of any water issues with all electrical parts. The fan has been working correctly since then until last weekend. After removing the circuit board, I ran a bench test on all of it's functions, I discovered the lid drive motor circuit was putting out a constant close signal. Because of this constant close signal that is why the motors gear assembly broke, it just kept trying to close the lid. Since we have had the trailer almost 5 years I just order a complete new unit from Camping World. I will salvage all of the old parts that are worth keeping.
  13. We made reservation months ago for Glacier National Park and Yellowstone plus several other locations across the country. Our reservations are for most of July 2020 and August. Hopefully this covid-19 virus will not require us to cancel our trip.
  14. This afternoon while we were in the Oliver we turned on the Maxx Air Fan; everything worked correctly. After a few minutes we turned off the Maxx Air Fan with the remote. When the outside lid of the fan reached its home position the lid drive motor did not stop trying to close the lid. Before I could pull the 12VDC fuse, several pieces of the lid drive motor gearing broke. It appears to be a defective circuit board that caused the lid drive motor issue. So tomorrow I will be ordering a complete replacement Maxx Air Fan.
  15. This is the same cover I purchased some time ago and it fits nicely.
  16. Our trailer remains at our home under a carport shelter. I installed a 30 amp electrical connection, which the trailer remain plugged in to keep the batteries charged. The electrical is connected for about 20 days and then disconnected for a few days; this way the batteries are maintained in an excellent operating condition. Plus the water is checked in the four T-105 batteries every 30 days. A water connection for the trailer is available if needed. We have always kept our travel trailers at home, which makes it nice.
  17. The LEII meets our requirements, would not purchase a larger unit.
  18. I have no pics, I just clean out all the old grease from around the gears and replace with a quality grease.
  19. I have not taken the jack assembly completely apart, but I do removed the top cover to the gear box and relube the gears. And each year I extend the jacks and clean then out first with brake cleaner and spray them with a Teflon lubricant; be sure to clean up any excess lube from the exposed jack tube. So far I have not had any issues and the jacks work very smoothly.
  20. You need to use 30 amp slow blow fuses for all three jacks.
  21. I have been using the handle “Maverick” for over 60 years as a ham radio operator. So someone else copied my handle!
  22. We have a Toyota Tundra and have towed our Oliver Elite II around the USA with no issues at all; we do use the Andersen Weight Distribution Hitch. And our gas mileage while towing is between 12 - 13 MPG.
