Patriot Posted yesterday at 12:40 PM Posted yesterday at 12:40 PM (edited) A few Oliver showroom floor photos of the Lippert awning style windows installed on 26 YM Olivers. It’s my understanding from Oliver that these windows will allow for retro fit on existing Olivers. Pricing on the retro fit of all (5) windows has not been announced yet. 3” max opening. Black interior frame and pull down roller shade. Also note the new white belly band. Zodd Posted yesterday at 03:59 PM Posted yesterday at 03:59 PM max of 3 inches? Ouch, that does not seem like a lot of airflow. 1 Todd & Kat 2023 LE ll twin, hull # 1305, Truma AC & WH, Platinum solar, Natures Head 2024 Ford F250 Lariat 7.3L gasser / 3.75, FX4
Steph and Dud B Posted yesterday at 07:01 PM Posted yesterday at 07:01 PM Not the Euro-style I was expecting. We had these on a previous trailer. Not much airflow. I wouldn't replace all my windows with these but might do just the one over the dinette for airflow on rainy days. Are they double pane? 1 Stephanie and Dudley from CT. 2022 LE2, Hull #1150: Eggcelsior. Tow vehicle: 2016 GMC Sierra 6.0 gas dually 4x4. jdmmtx Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago (edited) This change seems like a step backwards. I prefer the look and functionality of the old-style windows and blinds. We pass things through our windows often and enjoy the airflow and connection with the outdoors when inside and they are fully open. That valance, unfortunately, looks like something from 1995. Thumbs up, though, on the white belly band! Edited 17 hours ago by jdmmtx 5 Joe and Mindy ▪️ 2019 Legacy Elite II ▪️ Hull 457

According to the Lippert sales brochure those windows are "Available with single-glazed and dual-glazed panels." I hope Oliver is choosing double pane. Also, as I recall, there was a hack involving drilling out a rivet that would allow those windows to open further. I have mixed feelings about them myself. Not sure double pane is that big of a deal after years of use. Disappointed they only open 3 inches. The valance thing looks dorky. Always thought the chrome stuff looked tacky so an improvement with the white trim piece. Love the no maintenance of the windows though. The existing windows on the Oliver have always been the bane of ownership to me. Poorly designed and out of date. 1 Legacy Elite II #70
Steph and Dud B Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago For us, the advantage of double pane isn't temperature control, it's noise reduction. They really do help when the guy with the huge Bluetooth speaker sets up next to you. But the bigger problem for me is that those Lippert windows really don't move much air. We never really felt a breeze in our old trailer. That said, they're better in the rain. For functionality, I'd like to have just one swing out window for use on rainy days. I know some of the other fiberglass trailers do that with the rear window. 1 3 Stephanie and Dudley from CT. 2022 LE2, Hull #1150: Eggcelsior. Tow vehicle: 2016 GMC Sierra 6.0 gas dually 4x4. Patriot Posted 3 hours ago Author Posted 3 hours ago (edited) For those members who don’t do FB, here is recent pic of a few 26 YM interior updates from the Oliver FB page. I am seeing the fiber-granite sinks, a vent over the closet door where the pervious speaker use to be mounted. A new Bluetooth speaker, induction cook top, a texture wet bath wall, under cabinet switch lights, a new bath door, and the white belly band. 🇺🇸 Edited 2 hours ago by Patriot 2020 OLEII - Hull #634 aka- “XPLOR” TV 2021 F350 6.7 liter Diesel Lariat Ultimate Tremor aka - “Beast of Burden” Retro upgrades - Truma Aventa 13.5 AC, Alcan 5 leaf pack, Alcan HD shackles & HD wet bolts, 5200lb never lube axles.
