Great idea. The bed overhang makes it hard for our lab, which helps keep her away from the return air vent. These would further help. At night her bed is up by the fridge. Now to get approval😎

Great idea, really like this mod @Mountainman198! We're not big readers, so one book, one bin, would be enough for us, while leaving more room for our dog down below as @Wandering Sagebrush mentioned. If it's in reach when lying in bed, it's a good spot to place your phone when going to sleep and other needs too.

Does anybody have a good idea for hanging a bedside water bottle, or some kind of cupholder? Mounted above the bed would be preferred, while positioned so your arms wouldn't bang into it while sleeping. Thanks

Maybe this...

We use one of these Hasko cup holders in our Bathroom for toothbrushes.
They have a strong suction cup that sticks like crazy to the Ollie fiberglass.
It can pivot a bit for adjustment on the curved wall.
It comes with the cup but it can be removed and a typical store water bottle fits.

It's called the HASKO accessories - Suction Cup Toothbrush Holder

We feature it in our blog here along with other suction cup storage holders.

Thank you, these look well made. And sorry, @Mountainman198 for adding a tangent to your thread.

Question, does the pearl white cup come out of the chrome frame easily? This way you could likely fit a thermos style cup in the holder. Thanks again to both of you.

Steph and Dud B, I originally used a 4x4 vinyl fence post (may have been a vinyl cover for a 4x4 post). Just make one cut on opposite sides so that there is a short section and a long section on the opposite sides. That makes two shelves. Cut to length to suit and I used maybe four Command strips to attach it to the wall. Mine have been attached for about six years. Others have copied the idea and made a great improvement by using a vinyl cover for a 6x6 post. A much better choice as they can hold shoes better. Others have also added a small bar type of drawer pull at each end which keeps shoes from falling off the shelf.

Do you have a source for that shelf? Looks perfect.

As Ken explains above, a 4X4 vinyl fence post makes a couple of shelves.  I looked but couldn’t find a 6X6 when I was motivated to do this.  It’s an easy mod but very useful!

I bought them at a brick and mortar Target, so unfortunately do not have a link

I just did a quick search on 5L stackable bins and I believe this is the link as the price, material, description and dimensions match.
