Landrover
Since our Oliver was taken home hull # 484 my wife and i wanted to name our Oliver. Boats have some very interesting names. I’m not sure why Rvs in general aren’t named. Since our Oliver shares some boat quality’s. Naming the Oliver seemed appropriate. The other day a name came to us. We were at the local rv shop having some warranty work done. When we went to pick up the trailer it was parked among some very large fifth wheels and travel trailers. My wife and I had the same thought. It looks like a little peanut. Our name was chosen. We now call our Oliver PEANUT. There are some interesting names out there for the Oliver’s it would be interesting to hear how you all came up with the names for your Oliver. Moderators bugeyedriver Posted October 8, 2019 Moderators Share Posted October 8, 2019 "The Wonder Egg". Because 11 years ago, Oliver put so many fabulous things on my trailer that other brands would not accommodate. It was a wondrous thing! 1 Pete & "Bosker". Frank C
We usually just refer to ours as the Ollie, but since we are hull #461, to me the obvious name that came to mind is calling it “Ocean Boulevard”. Eric Clapton fans will understand. Might even get a large palm tree decal for the front graphic.
Galway Girl
Galway Girl - due to family connections and a "naming contest" with our 3 adult daughters... Back Story: When we ordered our unit, we had to wait from April to August for pickup date. We decided to have a name the Oliver contest during a family summer vacation. We setup a 4 night competition...sort of like the final 4 in basketball. We had 4 couples and started with each couple providing 8 names....next night cut to 4....then to 2...finally a vote off. We had some really funny names provided...but in our case the number one name was Galway Girl because of our family history/connections...and the fact that all 3 of our children were girls!.... Our second place name 4-ever-hitched became the name for our blog post...and if you want to see our trip to pickup our ollie...it's here... https://4-ever-hitched.com/ 1 2019 Elite II (Hull 505 - Galway Girl - August 7, 2019 Delivery) Tow Vehicle: 2021 F350 King Ranch, FX4, MaxTow Package, 10 Speed, 3.55 Rear Axle Batteries Upgrade: Dual 315GTX Lithionics Lithiums - 630AH Total Inverter/Charger: Xantrex 2000Pro Travel BLOG: https://4-ever-hitched.com

Moderators Mike and Carol Posted October 9, 2019 Moderators Share Posted October 9, 2019 Well, we decided to name ours “The Lone Star Oliver”. We even had those words on the side of the trailer in place of “Legacy Elite II”. We never say, “Let’s hook up the Lone Star Oliver and go on a trip.”, we always just say “the trailer” or “Ollie” or “Oliver”. Last year I took the lettering off the side of the trailer because everyone kept asking where in Texas it was made. It was a nice conversation starter for a few years, but got a little tedious, so now we’re incognito. Teal
Hull 89 is Picasso due to my van which is pueblo gold constantly being mispronounced "Pablo gold" by the ford service department so it became "Pablo" hence the Ollie became "Picasso", also it is kind of a work of art. ShallowGal
"ShallowGal" because our "flats" boats were always called that because in Florida we fish in shallow water & I'm a gal, &, well, yes, I can be shallow when it suits me. ;) Also, Duke didn't like "Bubbles." 1 Chris & Duke Chadwell 🐾Maddie & Baxter🐾 Elite II Hull 292 2022 F-250 Lariat 7.3 Godzilla 4x4 Lakeland,FL
