Up to you whether to ask them to remove some of the detail, but I don't know that I'd have posted it here. Normally, it is just one of tens of millions of street view shots, but by posting it here with your address, it ties you with a physical address. Using just the image above, I can tell that you bought the house in 2016, how big it is, what you pay in taxes, etc. John's new avatar. 😉6 points

You are welcome, Frank. As you can see about 98% of the classified ads were no longer valid, mainly due to their owners neglect, and have been removed. The new rules address that issue and will make that forum better for everybody. New Advertisement Rules Oliver Travel Trailers has granted each owner the privilege of posting a FREE advertisement on this forum in the event they find themselves with a need to sell their trailer. Few other fiberglass trailer manufacturers offers this level of service and dedication to their owners. As well as being free, it's the first place many people will look to see if they can locate the Oliver trailer they desire. If a potential buyer is viewing these ads, an Oliver is what they're looking for. Classified advertisements for trailer sales may remain posted for a maximum of 4 weeks. After 4 weeks the ad will be taken down but the seller is welcome to re-list one time which will reset the time clock. If, after two postings, the trailer has not been sold we suggest reassessing your advertisement and make adjustments that will make your trailer more desirable to potential buyers. Sellers are required to tend their advertisements. This means checking it at least once a day to see if there are any new inquiries. If there are, seller should address these in an immediate post on the forum. If the seller wishes to communicate directly with the potential buyer, that's OK as long as the information is also posted on the forum to allow everybody to know the status of the proceedings. When the trailer has sold the seller is required to post that information as the ending entry in their ad and notify the moderators that the trailer has sold. The seller is also required to notify Oliver Travel Trailers by filling out the form found here.5 points

A "heads up" for new owners (like us) who have the (more efficient) Victron charge controller instead of the older Zamp unit: the wall-mounted Victron BMV-712 Smart Battery Monitor is exactly that--a battery monitor, not a solar charge monitor. Since it is mounted in the same place as the old Zamp display, I presumed it reported solar charge data, like the Zamp did. It doesn't. For solar panel output data, you must download and consult the Victron Connect app, and tap on the icon for the Victron charge controller, not the Smart Battery Monitor. Then you can see not only current, but historical (last 30 days) solar charge data. This is a paradigm shift which confused me until I figured it out.5 points

Looks like UW colors on the Oliver. Shouldn't have to worry about anyone stealing it!🙂4 points

I’m not familiar with the specs on your short bed Ram 1500. We have that same size Clam and it would not fit in our 5-1/2 foot short bed 2014 GMC Sierra unless it was loaded diagonally. The standard length of our 2017 Silverado 2500 and the 2022 Silverado 3500 bed is 6-1/2 feet and the Clam fits fine placed lengthwise.4 points

Let me see ---- Reasonably nice neighborhood, Reasonably nice yard, Reasonably nice house, Really nice two car garage PLUS what looks to be an RV garage. With or without the pics - I'd bet that there is something expensive in that RV garage and while I'm in there I'd take a look around too if I was that sort of person. I wonder just how many crooks of the larceny type spend time on a computer "casing" houses to burgle? Surely its nothing that "Reacher" couldn't take care of. 😊3 points

You can put panels on your garage roof, no worries, but you must add a solar controller right at the trailer, because the external solar port just connects directly to the batteries. Easy to do.… https://olivertraveltrailers.com/forums/topic/5478-how-to-remote-mount-the-controller-of-a-suitcase-solar-panel-not-inside-the-trailer/ In your shoes I would remove the Zamp PWM controller in the Ollie and replace it with a more efficient Victron MPPT one, and use the old Zamp for your roof charge controller. Kill two stones with one bird - a double upgrade. You will need to figure out how to cover the big ugly hole where the Zamp is located. I installed an iPad Mini 2 there, to run the Victron Connect app, interface with my Garmin inReach, and some other stuff. https://olivertraveltrailers.com/forums/topic/5357-how-to-mount-a-tablet-computer-in-place-of-the-zamp-controller/ John Davies Spokane WA2 points

You have a beautiful home, John. Jealous of that RV garage.2 points

Hey at least the yard looks great! I always watch for my latest aerial view of our little ranch so I can compare my "mowing lines" to the neighbors! 🤣 Out here in the sticks... we don't even rate for the street-view pics. UPDATE: Our ELLiRose was surfing the web and now she is jealous because all she gets is a stupid cover . She now wants her own dedicated bay too!2 points

I fixed it. If you have time, can you check to see if it was done correctly. Thanks for the step by step directions. I did it on my phone so I couldn't left click. John2 points

I had done all that usual checking of the traps, etc. The issue actually turned out to be a broken & cracked toilet mounting flange (see photos) that allowed black water to leak under the toilet and drip down onto the top of the black tank and between the hulls, causing the odor issue. The crack grew progressively worse over time and eventually the source of the problem became very apparent as water leaking out of the under-hull scupper below the bathroom anytime the toilet was flushed. Oliver uses an all plastic toilet flange which is common in residential applications but seems prone to cracking with a heavy porcelain bowl toilet in a trailer bouncing down the road. Other owners have discovered this same problem (sometimes on a brand new trailer, seems the flange occasionally gets broken during installation of the toilet). I replaced it with a new toilet flange that has a stainless steel ring for holding the toilet mounting bolts. I also installed a new Dometic seal between the toilet and flange. Problem solved, odor gone (after some cleanup & disinfection between the hulls around the black tank). Thankfully we only ever use the toilet for #1. #2 is done at the campground restrooms or roadside rest stops. Made cleanup a lot less of an issue.1 point

JD, Lucky You, GE has not updated many parts of western ND since late May of 2017. and we have new roads, streets and sub-divisions added since then. I have been trying for 2 years to get GE to update our flyover, and have not received any positive feedback. and I am truly envious of your "Mouse House". B Out,1 point

Thank you and I’m so sorry that happened to you. I do recall that post and wondered myself if they got their issue resolved. If I recall correctly it was stated that the person that originally posted the problem had deleted it. You are a great contributor to the community both here and on FB, always so sweet. I do hope they reconsider pulling that trigger and remove the ban.1 point

Yep, that was mentioned in my previous post. Sorry, didn’t mean to get off topic in my own post. 😂 I was just trying to find the Black Friday list I’d seen somewhere, and thought it was on here. I’ve got a list of goodies in a wishlist on Amazon, and check every day to see if any have been discounted. So far, no luck.1 point

I have not resolved the issue permanently but I have made enough adjustments that I am not too concerned about temperatures down to about 15 degrees. My LE II is hull 657 and when I am running the furnace I open the round access hatch under the pantry ((for inverter access) and that makes a huge difference. I am not sure your LE II has an access hatch under the pantry like mine. I also modified the hot air supply vent under the sink/microwave by removing the movable baffle that formerly constricted airflow out of the vent. This allows much more warm air to be blown forward in the cabin and mix with other cabin air before returning to the furnace through the vent under the bed. It takes 15 seconds to remove the movable damper in the vent. It made a huge difference. I think OTT put the movable damper in to try to force more air to the bathroom but it doesn't really help in that respect and instead reduces the total supply vents in square inches to less than required by the furnace manufacturer. A recipe for short cycling. You can also open a drawer or two by an inch which will allow air to flow through the back of the drawer cabinet and down into the basement when it drops below freezing (there is a large cutout behind the drawers to allow access to the sink plumbing). Again, your LE II may be different than mine. The only permanent fix is to add return vents forward in the cabin and in the bathroom, and reduce the size of the return vent under the bed. You should read the thread below that is currently active on the forum. It has a lot of information relevant to your issue with good input and advice from many contributors to this forum. Just click on the pic below. Good luck. You have an outstanding trailer. I just wish OTT would acknowledge the issue and develop a recommended fix for customers based on input from a professional HVAC engineer. Most of us are not comfortable winging it and cutting holes in our Oliver without guidance from the factory.1 point

Note that the larger CLAM's such as the one in Katjo's video above will not fit in the closet of the Ollie. They must be stored either in the tow vehicle or someplace else in the Oliver (i.e. the aisle, the bath, the bed, etc.) The smaller version like THIS one will fit inside the Oliver closet (folded up of course). We are probably one of the ones with a lot of outlets. We have 8. The one outside, outside of the bath, in the closet, under the dinette, microwave, kitchen overhead, under curbside bed and attic. We use them all, just not at the same time…. Mike1 point

Paranoid? Not completely. We listed our home for sale about 7 months ago, east of Indianapolis. It sold in 3 days. The listing was on Zillow and immediately showed as pending sold. By the pictures on the listing on Zillow you could tell we had already moved out. Within two days after it showed pending, our neighbor was sitting on his front porch late at night just enjoying the nice weather and overheard a couple arguing in our driveway about whether they should go into the house since it was vacant. The neighbor informed me of the situation and needless to say I moved back into the house temporarily until the new owners took possession. I don't think you can ever be too cautious.0 points

I hope you both recover quickly! The folks who took delivery of #1292, the last of the 2022 models, ended up with a non-working toilet all last weekend in the Oliver campground. They were understandably irked. A very long and divisive thread resulted, then disappeared. After a couple days with no news, I asked what happened to the posting, and said that I hoped it wasn’t deleted so as to only show positive deliveries. For that, I was put in detention for a month, only allowed one post a day and one reply an hour. When I could next post, I asked what I’d done wrong, explained I’m not being confrontational, and asked that the detention be removed. For that, I was permanently banned. Makes no sense to me. First time I’ve ever been reprimanded in nearly 40 years of forums, groups, listserves, etc. Hey, you asked… 🤪0 points

Omg, such a rebel..lol! Why did you get banned?! I looked and didn’t see any Black Friday posts but maybe I missed it. I’m sick with Covid (a not so nice gift from my husband) so I’m not on top of social media right now.0 points
