Ray and Susan Huff
I've been looking at a lot of photos of Olivers, on their webpage and on the forum. I see some have solid colored "swoosh" decals on the sides while others have pin striped. I like the pin stripe and wonder if it is still avaiable. Are there other choices to be made that are not mentioned on the Oliver site? There are a gaggle of color choices, but the general swoosh design is the same whether solid or pinstripe. I also like the naked or no logo Ollie, no swooshes, for it’s clean look. I think the pinstripe swoosh will remove easier than the solid swoosh if we decide to remove it. I don’t think we can wait to long if we opt to remove it as it may shadow the gel coat...not sure. Many go with a personal graphic design decal of their choosing post delivery. There are a few cool personal graphics out there that we liked. I thought about no swooshes, but then I like that they break up the monotony of the all white exterior. I am thinking about no decal on the front. I like the logo, but it would be less maintenance without. Decisions decisions 😄 many punt on the front decal for your reason mentioned. One thing we are leaving is the Oliver LEll on the sides. Without it...surely questions about make and model will be the flavor of the day. We chose the front logo...it’s not difficult to remove early on so I was told by Rodney Lomax if we choose not to remove it. I think we’ll just have a look first. Moderators SeaDawg Posted June 14, 2020 Moderators Share Posted June 14, 2020 (edited) I don't know if Oliver still uses the same graphics company, but I'm really happy with ours, 12+ years out. A few snags from tree branches (black graphics, one color), no noticeable fading. When in doubt, better to add later than delete later. Ours is the same as our avatar. Galway Girl
Susan, The material used by Oliver is Oracal 651 glossy in matching colors and is available on Amazon and at many Craft Stores. We had the swooshes and logo's from Oliver but then added a few extra items ourself using a CriCut crafting machine and the exact color matched vinyl that the factory uses. We bought the vinyl in 12"x12" scrapbook size pages...which fit perfectly into our CriCut craft cutter. Below: Added our Domain Name to the trailer...so folks can check out our travel blog. Added our trailer name near the Entry Door: Added Hull Number and Galway Girl Logo to the back of the trailer... 2019 Elite II (Hull 505 - Galway Girl - August 7, 2019 Delivery) Tow Vehicle: 2021 F350 King Ranch, FX4, MaxTow Package, 10 Speed, 3.55 Rear Axle Batteries Upgrade: Dual 315GTX Lithionics Lithiums - 630AH Total Inverter/Charger: Xantrex 2000Pro Travel BLOG: https://4-ever-hitched.com

WhatDa
We did 0 decals, I like it. I get questions of "what is it?" probably more often. I can always add something else later. The swooshes all remind me of the face tattoos in the hangover, but to each their own. Between Olivers…

Good morning and thank you Steve, for the word of the day, Palindromically. Now that I have visited dictionary.com, I understand your reference. Now the trick will be using it before I forget it. Mainiac
We did our own graphic install on the front. No maintenance issues. I like the factory graphics on the sides because it helps with the question, " when did Casita start making a big trailer? ".
Overland
As the founding member of the National Organization to Summarily Wipe Out Oliver Swooshes Henceforth, I must say that swooshes are only meant for slab sided trailers and RVs that need camouflage to disguise the inherent blandness of both the vehicles and their owners. A simple stripe would do nicely, Oliver. 1 2
Moderators Mike and Carol Posted June 20, 2020 Moderators Share Posted June 20, 2020 (edited) I’ve thought about removing my swooshes several times over the last couple of years. I’m afraid once I have them off there might be some discoloration left after 4+ years. I removed the front Oliver logo right away to put my big star on and it was very easy and left no tell-tale marks. Moderators Mike and Carol Posted March 3, 2021 Moderators Share Posted March 3, 2021 When I removed mine I just used a fingernail to get a corner up a little then took hold and slowly peeled it off. John E Davies
A plastic scraper works well, they are used for getting off stuff like window decals. Trailblazers
Thanks for the advice! We just bought the trailer and I'm wanting to remove the front decal. It's one that just says "Ollie" and we're not thrilled with it. The trailer is a 2018, so a little worried that the rest of the trailer will be a bit more faded.
