That’s exactly what I see in my mind when someone mentions a Tesla truck, just butt-ugly. I believe that this particular one runs on 450,000 Triple-A batteries though. MAX Burner
FYI: We observed our 2nd and 3rd Cyber Trucks yesterday headed eastbound on I-20 in LA -- again, on the back of a flat bed. Easy on the Basecamp! lol. A 16 BCX was our last trailer and saved our lives through COVID when there was nothing to do but boondock! We were sad to see her go. I agree though, kinda an acquired taste. I’m still not to keen on the 20’ Basecamps. ChrisMI
Tesla really needs to put out another truck model that basically combines the body of the Tacoma with the electronics of a model Y. They would sell a ton of those… I’m not a big fan of the cars but I’d buy one.

Steve and MA
It seems we all agree that the Tesla Cybertruck isn't a suitable tow vehicle for our Olivers. Even if you could live with its looks and limited range, the 11,000 lb tow rating should be called in to question. Imagine what might happen if its bumper breaks off like in this comically abusive test at about 5:45 in the video. To be fair, it looks like the WhistlinDiesel guys may have set up the bumper failure at the 5:25 mark. They used a Ford F-150 for comparison and ended up rating it higher even though the Tesla was the clear winner of the important C-4 explosive testing. jd1923
Just ran across this video tonight. Another side of Tucker Carlson on TCN. Love his neighbor and the relaxed rural setting. This thing can haul! (for 100 miles) Where's the truck bed? 🤣 Edited August 6 by jd1923 1 Chris & John in Prescott, AZ | 2016 EII #113 | '01 Ram 2500 Cummins!
routlaw
Truly an ugly vehicle, could hardly refer to it as a truck. I would choose a Rivian hands down over this POS. We have one running around our town, see it ever so often. I just don't get it how this appeals to anyone. Regardless none of these EV trucks will suffice for towing anything. Apparently there is new battery technology on the horizon however that is far more environmentally friendly with more power than Lithium. 1 Legacy Elite II #

I like the open-mindedness of Tucker's neighbor in testing the truck. The thing pulls like an SOB, but not much else in positive attributes. Loved the video and it makes me want to pull our Oliver all the way to the great state of Maine. It would give me an opportunity to meet up with my friend @connor77 and perhaps other forum members. Let's hit the ball soon, Kevin! Tucker is great and Elon is a genius, but I've not seen a Tesla that I think is a good-looking vehicle.
