I expect that would depend on several factors. Are you running any other 120V appliances? Is your fridge pulling from the batteries at the same time? Is it Daytime or Nighttime? Are you getting any replacement from the solar? How Much? A more informative question would be "How long will it take to replace 300 amp-hours if I run my batteries down half way while running my AC?" With really good sun, 400 watts of solar and a quality MPPT charge controller will produce 20 – 24 amps of power per hour on average. Assuming there are 6 hours of sunlight during the day, this would amount to 120 – 140 amp-hours over 24 hours. In the middle of winter or on cloudy days, you might get 3 hours of peak sunlight. This amounts to an output of 60 – 80 amp-hours. You should be able to get the batteries back up to 100% SOC in about 3 days. Here again, this is dependent on the sun and how much energy you pull out during the charging period. A generator would be much quicker.6 points

They already responded. Tripped 300 amp breaker. The flag was hiding behind a wire loom and I did not see it the first time. Now if it will just keep working. Had the inverter itself turn itself off once and now its breaker has tripped once.3 points

We received the replacement rubber from Pelland quickly and they sent an extra foot+ in length. Installed it last week, starting from the bottom, pushing hard to compress as much stock as possible. I used an automotive hose cutter tool. Cut it 1/4" longer at end and pushed in the extra length, so that when it shrinks, we should be good. The black does look so much better, as it is recessed, and the white frame is still prominent. Thanks all for your help! 🙂3 points

As Steph & Dud B stated. We kept tripping our son's breaker until Oliver provided guidance. #28 down to 15. Don't forget to switch it back. Using the phone app is easier to make the changes, so after unplugging turn on the inverter so you can pull up the phone app. Easy Peasy.2 points

If you have lithium batteries you'll need to change a setting in the converter (Xantrex) to prevent tripping the 15A breaker at your house. It's setting #28. Change it to 15A or less.2 points

Agreed Steve - my first accident was a hit and run. The driver was cutting a corner really close and I guess he didn't see me until he hit my rear wheel sending me and the bike flying. The second one was on my wife's very first ride ever on a motorcycle and we had been out all day touring the Skyline Drive in VA when we a kamikaze deer hit us at 65 mph! That one was not fun but I didn't drop the bike, I credit physics (HD Ultra Classic v. deer) and the good Lord above for that one. BL2 points

The truck was in its element. Perfect match. Got about 15 MPG pulling... Get about 19 normally.. I will hollar at you sometime. We are on high alert for trips so let me know if you guys are hitting some cool spots or if you come by my way. We are in Rector (NE) Arkansas.2 points

I received an email from this company this morning https://www.trailersphere.com/stomberg-jack the Barker Jack cover back in stock and for sale on Amazon. A few owners have asked me about this cover and it’s now back in stock. It’s spendy and there are much cheaper covers out there. Personally, I really like the fit and finish of this cover. Passing it forward. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MHYCGJN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Patriot🇺🇸1 point

Three of mine stopped working all together, and two were dim and wouldn’t shut off . This happened simultaneously … So I opened a ticket, and ended up replacing all of them, which wasn’t a big project..1 point

You can submit a service ticket in the Owners section of this site and Oliver will get back to you. No charge for advice/help troubleshooting.1 point

There have been numerous posts concerning a variety of issues with these "touch" lights. Your best bet would be to open a service ticket. I'd bet that you are looking at replacing this light. Bill1 point

I bought the Carista OBD Reader around 2014, and at that time there was no subscription; buy the reader and get the app free. It still works without subscription today! The above display is from the OBD Fusion app. There is no need for a Carista subscription to use ODB Fusion. However, on top of whatever ODB Fusion costs, you'll need to purchase the $10 Toyota Advance Pack for all the sensor PID hooks. Here is a link to an extensive thread on MUD on how to do all of this. I found it very confusing. There are dashboards available to download from thread participants, but they do not scale. So if you have an iPhone 14 Max and the dashboard was made for an iPhone 8, things will look wonky. I spent several hours fiddling with modifying someone's dashboard to get the above on my iPhone XS. Some of the dashboards are quite extravagant! https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/diy-smartphone-scan-gauge-obd-fusion.1269979/ I have OBD Fusion running on my phone on a vent phone holder, and my 11" iPad over top of the Toyota screen using Waze or Gaia for navigation.1 point

You just need an adapter cable like this and then a standard extension cord. This will let you connect to one of your house 15 amp outlets. But as mentioned above, this does limit you to 15 amps max current draw. Sniffer arrived in mail today. I'm volunteering today, so I'll use it this evening to search. Propane leak was determined through multiple drop tests (I didn't get written copy) and other work by a service center; after tracing to the Truma AquaGo WH, and after replacement of that heater, the alarm went off again (2nd time) and then I had propane off for a few days and it went off a 3rd time. So this is ongoing. There's another thread about the propane leak.1 point

I could tell that one was a K-1600 by the six tubes in the rear. We went to the BMW International rallies in Hamburg, NY; Salt Lake City, UT and Lebanon, TN -- all good times. One year on our anniversary my wife surprised me with the two-day riders program down at the BMW facility in Greensboro, SC! That course was amazing and we did things on motorcycles I previously did not think possible. No matter what your experience level, that course will make you better! BL1 point

Have you confirmed the propane leak with a combustible gas sniffer? Or just with the Oliver alarm going off? If you’re still getting an alarm even with the propane shut off for days, the Oliver alarm may be bad (they do age and need replaced) and it can also be triggered by various air fresheners. Lysol aerosol spray will trigger it, and we just discovered this Glade air freshener will trigger it too if the camper is closed up for a few days (propane tanks off, no propane used for weeks).1 point

Yes - any electric space heater will take energy out of your batteries as will any other device that runs off electricity. You will have to manage your electric usage carefully - particularly if you have cloudy days when your solar can't keep up with the drain. That is why I mentioned the Mr. Buddy type heater. That's why I'm selling my three scoots! At just a few weeks shy of 70, I don't want to have to deal with any broken bones or replacement surgery!! Nearly 60 years of riding without dumping a bike (other than dirt bikes in my teens), and I don't want some idiot on his phone ruining that streak.1 point

If the Tundra is like the Land Cruiser with the 5.7 V8, there is no transmission temperature gauge. I use a Carista Bluetooth OBD reader and the OBD Fusion app on my phone to monitor items that are not shown on the dashboard. On the "Gear" indicator, I have it set so that it adds a ring around the gauge when the torque converter is locked up. On my 8-speed, the top two gears are overdrive. On flat open road I can use 6th and keep the TC locked, but in any hills, I downshift to 5th. Long hills I use 4th to keep the RPMs up in the 3000 range to keep oil flowing though the transmission cooler. On the winding road up to Lake Guntersville, I was in 2nd! 🤪 So far, here in the east, I haven't had the pan or torque converter temps higher than around 220°. (Note that my colored indicator ranges and maximums are arbitrary, and not something from Toyota.)1 point

That note was a bright spot after a less than thrilling meal at Applebee's. We were on our way home after picking up our new trailer. The Oliver sure garners attention. We made it home fine after two days at Camp Hohenwald and a night at Piney campground in Dover, TN. It is part of the Land Between the Lakes in Tennessee and Kentucky.1 point

Since I've already "sorted" the music into the categories noted above on separate USB sticks, I felt no need to further sort by artist or album. Generally, even though the individual files are not "sorted" they do come in sequence by artist because I tend to have each artist separated on my home computer. So, even though I play music using the random function I could play all the songs of one artist at a time. I understand your comments about the Jensen limits on capacity. I only found out about this because I could not figure out why I couldn't load a USB stick and emailed Jensen thinking that I was doing something wrong. Since that was eight years ago I've lost the actual email from them which is the reason I was not more specific with the numbers in my post above. But, since I'm happy with the solution I found, I really didn't care to investigate further. Bill1 point

Topgun, How are you storing the MP3 files. In multiple directory structures, or all files just put on the USB drive without any directory structures? Every stereo (car or home) I have purchased in the last 13 years, told you how many total gigs that you can use, also how many directories/ files the stereo could handle. This seems like the Jensen technology is from around 2010-2013 the way it acts, and they tell you nothing of the parameters for the files systems. I have stereos that could only have 256 files or 512 files in a single directory, but might allow 64 directory structures with a total of 8 or 16 Gigs. The last stereo I bought in 2021 will do what ever a NTFS file system will handle on a SD card. with the limitation of 128gig, I believe. I am not sure, but I think I put around 500 files per directory structure and filled up a 16gb USB drive with a fat32 files system. On the Jensen I do playback in random mode. I'm going out next week for 8 days. I thing I will try to play around with some file parameters and start by stay under 6gb and see what happens.1 point

Hi, and welcome! And, congrats on your Oliver. Which bath fan do you have? MaxxFan, or ventline? (The Maxx dome has a clearly visible fuseholder on the inside. The ventline doesnt.) As a temporary fix, i've seen folks use a piece of pvc or a rolled up towel through the handle to keep it from opening. Scroll down through about halfway, and you'll see some solutions. Your fan may have been installed incorrectly.1 point

It was quite painful to sell, but this was the correct move at this stage in my life. For privacy I won’t say who bought it, but he is a member and if he wants to announce it, that will be on his dime. I emptied out the RV bay for the first time in six years, washed the floor using a push broom and Dawn detergent, and lots of water, and moved my LC200 over to that spot. I now have a vast area to park a vehicle or do workshop type projects, and my wife now has a big corner dedicated to gardening, with two big workbenches, power, light and pegboard. A happy wife is a happy me… Plus I have even more room for my indoor 10 meter airgun range. We will continue to travel and explore the back country at times, but we will stay primarily in motels or B&Bs. But if we encounter a splendid isolated pull-off overlooking a great vista, we can pop the Maggiolina Grand Tour 360 Carbon and rough it for a few nights. It takes about a minute to crank up, and three minutes to put back down. It is pretty darn crude compared to an Ollie, but it is a simply stunning tent. I was really afraid that there would be a big mpg hit from the tent, like with the Yakima RocketBox Carbonite Low, but I was delighted to discover that I got 16 mpgs going to the dealer with bare round bars, and 17 coming back, and no noise at all at 72 mph. That is good mileage for a Land Cruiser with LT tires, they are gas hogs. It’s way better than the 10-12 I got towing “Mouse” at 62 mph. I may install wimpy Geolander AT G015 tires after our next big trip, they will save 52 (!) pounds of rotating mass and I expect to gain another couple of mpgs. They are great “tweener” tires for an Outback, RAV4 or LC200 that isn’t doing lots of rocky stuff. I have had two sets already on other vehicles and I am impressed. We plan to attend the Total Solar Eclipse rally in Fredericksburg next April, but we will be forced to sleep in the ground due to stupid CG rules. If anyone wants a dirt cheap big heavy Eureka! tent and fly in fine condition, come by and talk to me on Tuesday morning after the crowds have departed. After the eclipse, we will head home via the Utah parks and hopefully spend a few nights on the delightful White Rim Road in Canyonlands NP. I will continue to hang out here on the forum, but my posting will be dramatically reduced. The members here feel very much like family, I can’t just go away. John Davies Spokane WA1 point

Same here, they have always respond promptly to my questions. The only issue I've had is that I can't get a replacement VIN decal which has incorrect capacity numbers on it from them. They said it would be illegal for them to do so since the original Oliver Corp ceased to exist after the shutdown. Totally understandable, but still frustrating...0 points

You’ll really like that Duramax / Oliver combination. We started out with a 1500 using the Andersen hitch and running right at max GVWR then switched to the 2500HD and quit using the Andersen. It made traveling so much more comfortable. Hollar back at me if you’re coming back through Union City some time. As for that particular dining establishment, we don’t know how they are staying in business.0 points

Do you think perhaps you accidentally set an alarm, causing the music to play "on its own?" My husband does this occasionally on his phone. Or, forgets to turn off the daily alarm setting, and I'm up at 3 or 4 am, searching for his phone...0 points
